Our Car Sponsor Program is an exciting way for businesses, organizations, and individuals to support local youth and be a visible part of every soapbox derby race we host. By sponsoring a derby car, you help us provide a fun, educational, and empowering experience to kids who may not have access to their own race cars.

What Is the Car Sponsor Program?

Not every young racer has the tools or materials to build a soapbox car—but with your sponsorship, we can ensure that every child who wants to race has a car to drive.

Through this program:

  • We maintain a fleet of community-built and sponsor-supported cars.

  • These cars are used by racers at events throughout Windsor-Essex.

  • Your sponsorship covers the upkeep, safety checks, and transport of the vehicle to and from events.

  • Each sponsored car proudly displays the name and logo of its sponsor on both sides, giving your brand high visibility at family-friendly events and in local media coverage.

How It Works

  • You sponsor a car – Choose to sponsor an available car from our fleet.

  • We brand it with your logo – Your name or business logo is added to the sides of the car in a visible, tasteful way.

  • Kids race it all season – Your sponsored car will be driven by excited young racers throughout the racing season at community events.

  • Recogination of your brand – Sponsors are featured on our website, social media, event signage and on event shirts. You’re also invited to attend races and see your car in action!
